It is with a heavy heart that we have to announce the cancelation of Benji and the Saltwater Sound System on April 11 at Navigate Arts. This is what we must do as artists and as a venue to protect the vulnerable members of our community. Take care of each other. Kindness and community are key to getting through this deeply challenging time.

Since their formation in summer 2016/17, Benji and the Saltwater Sound System have hit the shore running. The group’s original tunes have matured quickly after being exposed to audiences at a snowballing number of live shows and high profile festivals slots. The group has selected a handful of these songs to form band’s first EP titled Coming Up for Water, which was released in Winter 2018.Benji and the SSS fuse pacific flavours with the raw sounds of the Australian East Coast. After a difficult summer for so many we are thrilled to host these fantastic musicians and offer a brilliant night out for artists and audiences. The old church is a magical venue and we are looking forward to more guests discovering the place as they explore the dynamic live music and arts scene on the sapphire coast this Easter. Navigate Arts is the ideal, intimate venue to experience these soothing saltwater sounds.
